APEXX has won the ‘Most Disruptive Payment Technology’ award, sponsored by Natwest at the 6th annual Payments Awards for the second consecutive year.
Recognising cards and payments excellence and innovation, the awards are organised by FStech and Retail Systems; the fast growing startup was also a finalist in the Best online payments solution (merchant) and Payments startup of the year categories.
Peter Kennan, CEO at APEXX says: “We are incredibly proud that this is the second consecutive year we have received this accolade from peers in our industry. No other company has ever retained this award, and it demonstrates that APEXX are still on the forefront of what can be achieved in Payments Technology.”
APEXX is on a mission to improve the way cross-border payments are made, in order to save merchants money and improve the experience of their customers. By introducing transparency and competition, APEXX is redefining the market and returning control to merchants.
Peter continues: “The APEXX platform creates opportunities for beneficial relationships between acquirers, payment providers and merchants. Our customer base is experiencing a boost in sales, dramatic cost reduction and increased market visibility. We’re look forward to continuing to disrupt and redefine the broken market and bring vital transparency, competition and innovation to the global payments industry.”
The winners were announced at the awards ceremony on 14 November at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
